Desk is great, but Manufacturer and Seller….

I really love the desk itself. It’s got a lot of room uptop and plenty of places to stick those odds and ends everyone seems to acumulate on their desk.
However, my experience with the Seller and Manufacturer was not a walk in the park. I ordered 2 desks on 07/05/07 and finally received them on 08/03/07. FurnitureBuzz never bothered to contact me to advise that the items had been backordered twice. When I did contact the Seller (FurnitureBuzz), one of their reps told me that the manufacturer (Bestar) doesn’t put any kind of priority on Amazon orders, which is why my order kept getting put on the back burner!! When the desks arrived, the packaging was shoddy and half-hearted at best and really about to fall apart, so some of the desk edges (mainly on the long top part) were banged up and worn looking. Bestar’s fault for the packaging, but didn’t want to wait another month for replacements….
If you’re willing to run the risk of dealing with these two companies, then I’m sure you’ll enjoy the desk once it manages to arrive.

IF you ever get it, it is nice

Broken shipment three times. Customer Service Managers at BeStar are useless and would rather get you off the phone instead of help you. However! FurnitureBuzz is an excellent selling resource and very helpful. The actual desk itself is pretty nice for particle board and laminate… you get what you pay for there. After three weeks of useless dealing with BeStar, the desk is assembled and I am satisfied.
