Nice Looking Computer Desk
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This computer desk was fairly easy to put together. All parts fit perfectly with the exception of the CPU stand – it even came with spare parts. This desk is sturdy and looks great! It replaced the MONSTER corner unit I was using which was a huge pain to deal with when moving. This one will be a snap to move and is very light.
The included Allen wrench wore out before the assembly was finished, so I had to use my own to complete the job. The CPU stand gave me fits! First of all, one of the rubber feet would not screw in properly – the rubber would turn, but not the screw – it must have come apart on the inside. Thankfully there was a spare. Second, the stand is too low to the ground IMO. I have thick carpet and it barely cleared. I would not recommend placing the CPU stand under the center corner desk unit as it is almost impossible to access the computer to hook things up. I have recently purchased a better looking & more functional mobile CPU stand – hopefully it will be here within a few days. I also found a hutch unit at a local office store that also had smoked black glass shelves. It had screw sockets built into the glass – much better design than the suction cups that came with this unit. After seeing comparable desks, this one was a bit pricey.

easy as 1-2-3
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This computer desk is very easy to put together; I guess it took about one – very leisurely – hour from start to finish.
It is definitely sturdy enough for my purposes.
Interestingly enough, outside of the framing and glass apparatus, it came with two more of everything (i.e. screws and plugs) than needed.
While it does come with an Allen wrench you will need to furnish your own Phillips head screwdriver.
Finally, I now know what tempered glass means! ; )
